Q. Why are Yum-V’s made of Pectin and not gelatin like other gummies?
A. Pectin is a nutritional fiber which helps the body absorb the vitamins. An added benefit is that Pectin is softer and better tasting than gummies made of gelatin.
Q. How can the Yomi bear products be colored if it has no food coloring?
A. Our jelly bears do not contain any food coloring; the color comes from the beta carotene and blueberry extract which are orange and red. All fruits and vegetables are naturally colorful and do not contain food coloring, we add color to our products by using the natural fruit and vegetable colors.
Q. How should Yum-V’s supplements be stored?
A. Yum-V supplements should be stored in a cool dry place.
Q. What is the shelf life of your products?
A. When stored properly Yum-V’s chocolate supplements have a shelf life of 18 months. Yum-V’s jellies have a shelf life of 24 months
Q. Can your products be taken with other products such as other vitamins, cold medicine, etc?
A. There are no effects while taking other kinds of vitamins or medication such as cough or cold medicine. On the contrary we recommend combining medical treatment with vitamin reinforcement.
Q. When should your products be taken? Before, after or during meals?
A. We recommend taking the Yum-V’s supplements with food. They may be taken any time during the day, however it is recommended to take the supplement at the same time every day.
Q. Do your products contain any allergens?
A. Some of our products contain milk derivatives (lactose and milk protein) and some contain lecithin derived from soy.
Q. Do these products contain gluten?
A. Our products do not contain gluten or wheat flour. The product may contain tiny amounts of tapioca starch or corn starch (less than 10mg per bear)
Q. How many Yum-V’s do I give my children is one is 45 pounds and the other is 75 pounds?
A. Servings per product do vary, however both children require the same daily values and the serving size recommendations for each product should be followed. Food coloring question I love the taste of Yum-V’s chocolate vitamins.
Q. Do you have anything for adults?
A. Yes we do! Our Dulce for Adults is specifically formulated for adult's nutritional needs and is sugar free.
Q. What kosher certification do Yum-V’s vitamins and supplements have?
A. All of our vitamins and supplements are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).
